Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica do Sul - the opening concert of FIMA 2017 (The International Music Festival of Algarve): Ode to Joy at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro (Rui Pinheiro, Artistic Director of this year's Festival). Also, the world premiere of Eu.Rope by Luis Soldado, in which the composer makes a reflection on what it means to be European in a globalised world; and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor alongside the Coro Sinfonico Lisboa Cantat and soloists.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica do Sul on 7th May, as part of FIMA 2017 - at the Grande Auditorio de Gambelas in Faro: the ballet Matrioska (with Companhia de Dança do Algarve): music by Modest Mussorgsky (Pictures at an Exhibition). Also, orchestral works including Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, Op. 48.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica do Sul on 14th May at Teatro das Figuras, Faro, (Pinheiro, Principal Conductor, OCS) closing another season of Promenade Concerts given by OCS, including Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and works by Respighi, Haydn and Rossini.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica do Sul in a Promenade Concert on January 22nd 2017 - 'A MENINA DO MAR / THE GREAT CLASSICS'.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica do Sul (Pinheiro, Principal Conductor, OCS) on January 7th and 8th: the Twelfth Day Concert | Music for the Royalty in a programme celebrating the arrival of the Three Kings with Musica para a Realeza (Music for the Royalty) including Haydn: Symphony No. 85 (The Queen), and Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Marianne Thorsen: directed the Trondheim Soloists in October, the closing concert of the Trondheim International Chamber Music Festival 2016.
Viv McLean: on tour with the London Concert Orchestra in 2016 at venues including Symphony Hall, Birmingham (13th Nov), Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow (20th Nov) and the Barbican (30th Dec) performing Gershwin's ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ and other works.
Martin Owen: performed Richard Strauss Horn concerto No. 1 with the Liceu Symphony Orchestra, Josep Pons, conductor, at Palau de la Musica Catalana, Barcelona, on 21st October.
Rui Pinheiro: conducts Orquestra Sinfonica Portuguesa, Soloists and Full Chorus of the Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos on November 25th – ‘THE 300TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PATRIARCHADE OF LISBON’ at Lisbon's Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos. Including Te Deum in D major by Marcos Portugal and other choral works by Carlos Seixas, Francisco Antonio de Almeida, Joao de Souza Carvalho and Antonio Leal Moreira.
Marianne Thorsen: directed the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra on August 27th at Bygdeboksen, Stokkoya, Norway, including Bach Concerto.
Viv McLean: performances in September of Gershwin's ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ with the National Symphony Orchestra on board Queen Mary 2nd departing New York.
Martin Owen: performed Britten Serenade for tenor, horn and strings with Britten Sinfonia (Ian Bostridge tenor/director) at Norwich Theatre Royal on Sunday 19 June and Cambridge West Road Concert Hall on Friday 24 June.

Rui Pinheiro: conducts the Gulbenkian Orchestra in a performance of the Multimedia Opera by Victor Gama, ‘3milRIOS’, on Friday 6 May at 21.00 at the Grande Auditorio, Lisbon.
Martin Owen: performs Britten Serenade for tenor, horn and strings at Shanghai Concert Hall, China, on Saturday 7 May with Britten Sinfonia (Nicholas Mulroy tenor).
Marianne Thorsen: ‘MEZZOTINTS’ - a selection of six chamber works by Norwegian composer Stale Kleiberg released on Hybrid SACD and Pure Audio Blu-ray by 2L.no.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Ensemble KNM Berlin in January performing Victor Gama's multimedia piece, ‘VELA 6911’ at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin.
Viv McLean: returned to Wigmore Hall, London on 20th February in a performance of ‘Alicia's Gift: The concert of the novel’ alongside narrator and author, Jessica Duchen, including works by Chopin, Ravel, Granados and Gershwin.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted the Oltenia Philharmonic, Romania, on 29th January incl. Shostakovich: Symphony No. 10.
Martin Owen: performed Struass 1st Horn Concerto with Staatsphilharmonie Nurnberg on 22nd January alongside Sir Roger Norrington; and with Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra on December 6th at the Brighton Dome.

Rui Pinheiro: returns to conduct Orquestra Gulbenkian on November 18th at Coliseu do Porto and on November 20th and 21st at Coliseu dos Recreios, Lisbon (Porto and Lisbon Coliseums) with soloists, full choir and orchestra.
Martin Owen: performed Britten: Serenade for Tenor, horn and strings with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra / Edward Gardner / Mark Padmore on October 22nd and 23rd 2015.
Marianne Thorsen: performed Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante (with Trondheimsolistene and Lawrence Power) at the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival on 22nd September.
Viv McLean: returned to perform Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue with the Halle on 15th July at The Sage, Gateshead (cond. Steve Bell) following on from other performances with the Halle including the Ravel Concerto in G at The Sands, Carlisle and Middlesbrough Town Hall; and Gershwin, Bernstein and de Falla's 'Nights in the Gardens of Spain' at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester.

Rui Pinheiro: returned to conduct Orquestra Sinfonica do Porto Casa da Musica on 31st May.
Marianne Thorsen: made her debut at ‘SPECTRUM CONCERTS BERLIN’, at Berlin's ‘Philharmonie’ on May 20th performing Ravel: Piano Trio and Faure: Piano Quartet nr. 2 (with Philip Dukes, Jens Peter Maintz, Ya-Fei Chuang and Robert Levin). Der Tagesspiegel (Berlin): ‘the rich tones of violinist Marianne Thorsen. Her bow stroke, like a bite from a succulent butter-cake, makes one forget the outside world for a moment’. Berliner Morgenpost: ‘enchanting and inspiring, and through the exquisite intonation, despite the tenderness of the music, suitably flexible playing’. Berlin Hundert: ‘her playing, refreshingly unpretentious’.
Rui Pinheiro: returned to conduct Orquestra Gulbenkian on 1st March and 3rd May; and on 28th April with Anouar Brahem Quartet and Orquestra Gulbenkian.
Viv McLean: had successful return engagements with the Halle on April 18th and 28th performing Ravel: Concerto in G.

Rui Pinheiro: conducted 5 acclaimed performances (22, 24, 25, 27 and 29 January) of ‘Los Diamantes de la Corona’ (1854) by Francisco Ansejo Barbieri at Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos (a production from Teatro Zarzuela, Madrid) following on from his performances of Donizetti's ‘La fille du Regiment’ last season at Sao Carlos.
Rui Pinheiro: Worldwide Artists is pleased to announce that Rui Pinheiro has recently taken up his new appointment as Principal Conductor of ‘Orquestra Classica do Sul’ in Algarve, Portugal in January 2015.
Marianne Thorsen: performed the Svendsen concerto with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK) in October 2014.
Viv McLean: performed Rachmaninoff: 2nd Piano Concerto with the London Concert Orchestra, conducted by David Corkhill on February 14th - a return to London's Barbican Hall; and on February 28th, a performance of Beethoven: 1st Concerto with Bristol Ensemble.
Rui Pinheiro: performs world premieres of Portuguese composers with ‘Grupo de Musica Contemporanea de Lisboa’ (GMCL) at Casa da Musica, Porto.
Rui Pinheiro: conducted Orquestra Classica da Madeira at Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias on November 29th (incl. Tchaikovsky: Fifth Symphony) and returned on 21st December in a programme of Opera Overtures, Arias and Neapolitan Songs; a concert tribute to the tenor, Lomelino Silva.
